Whenever my mom
sees me watching anime, she keeps on saying "Oh you're getting addicted
again to cartoons". She doesn't know that cartoons are different from
anime. I'm Ma. Samantha M. Tucay and I've been researching about anime and cartoons because I'm curious about it. I'm trying to figure out
what differences they have. Things that give curiosity to my mind are
these questions; why is anime more popular than cartoons? What differentiates
them? Does Anime and Cartoons affect the ones who watch them?
Based on what I know, others say
that anime is way too popular than cartoons. We all know
that English is our national language. But why is it that anime is
more popular even if they're using Japanese language? Every one has their own judgment
or opinion about these two. For me, Anime is nicer than Cartoons.
Besides of its creative drawing, their story plot is more interesting than
Cartoons. Anime can be in series while other cartoons only have its episode. I
mean, they have episodes but it's not a series.
Our emotions can be
easily exposed when we watch anime. The character seems so emotional than the
characters in cartoons. I can also say that one reason why anime is popular
than cartoons is because in cartoons, it looks like it's more suitable for
children to watch. Anime is suitable for all ages because of its features and
genres. Thou sometimes some anime are not advisable for children, they still
have a lot that lets children to watch. Like anime with a drawing
style of Chibi, kids find it catchy that it makes them interested and watch the
show. Besides of that things that I've researched, I think there are still more
things that I need to complete my research.
